This presentation was compiled from many sources.
One source used was the work of Stuart A. Smith,
MS, CGWP, a specialist in well rehabilitation
(www.groundwatersystems.com). Mr. Smith’s
material was originally presented to the 15th National
Congress on Water held in Argentina in 1994 and has
